TO BE A DILLIGENT STUDENT and TO UNDERSTAND THE LESSON is the goal of every teacher. In ED351 Educational Psychology class, Dr. Palacio looked to coach each student to understand how educational learning theories can enhance
teaching practices.
“This course is designed for students to gain an introductory
understanding in the field of educational psychology. Students will examine theories from
theorists in the cognitive, personality, social and moral, behavioral, and motivational domains.
Students will understand how integrating the Christian Faith with Educational Psychology can
inform teaching practices and enhance learning.”
It is my honor to share with you, my limited understanding of Educational Psychology with John Buck’s Model Continued by Donald Uhlin of the House–Tree–Person Practical Theory. Perhaps this may help you see that the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ the Eternal has been the same teaching since… the Apostle John. I believe that When applied to the counselor’s understanding, it is possible to provide a better focus of helpful conversations that leads to recovery and healing.
