Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.

CAN ONE MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Yes. It is more than just helping out at the church potluck. You can help in so many different ways and you as one person. Yes, you can make a difference.

HERE IS ONE THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE

Jesus died for our sins that we can have a new life, through His gift. He offers life through His true and living Word, the Bible. Jesus did not do this as a corporation; he did not wait for sponsorship. Jesus alone is the one that offers eternal life, not an organized religion in a foreign country with an elected leader. Jesus paid it all. Yup. We know the John 3:16 verse.

HERE IS ONE OF US

Joan is one of the ladies at the Bible study who regularly makes one more meal for her neighbor. Then she made a couple more. Her goal is to provide a single meal for a neighbor in need and she is cooking for herself. She has two core beliefs: I can cook for one extra and God has given me this ability to help.

IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME AT THE GOSPEL MISSION

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas every year is the great need to help in the prep and delivery thousands of meals for those who have not planned their life correctly. This is the gift of one helper times a huge team. When you volunteer for the Salvation Army or the Union Gospel Mission kitchen help, you make a big difference.

GIVE TO YOUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR

This is what the Lord taught us in so many sections of the Book of Matthew. The Beatitudes in Matthew 5-7 and the Parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10 were and are simple and perfect teaching for us even to this month. How about just write a short note to your neighbor of thanks and a kind note of greeting.
(Did you notice that I didn’t say give money? That tithe belongs to your local church. Bible says that.)

You see, one person can make a huge difference in the heart and life of a neighbor, a stranger, a friend or even a family member.

May God bless you as you give to others.

May God bless you as you tell God what your needs are and then He will lead other to help you in your daily life. If I can answer any questions about these resource bulletins, please call me.
In Christ’s Care,
Chaplain Aaron & Mrs. Alice
