With over 50 years of serving in the DEAF, DEAF-BLIND, Disabled, and then the adoption of almost 20 children, Shasta Bible College has conferred an honorary Doctorate of Humanity. WELL deserved. We all are grateful for so many years of giving volunteer living for others. May the Lord bless her efforts with many others choosing to follow her self-sacrificial lifestyle of living to give.
“They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.” Psalm 119:74

This was Dr. Mom’s favorite verse. It epitomized her hope for her own life to be a testimony worth seeing!

PLEASE WELCOME THE QUARTERMASTER!!!
You have been giving or receiving all year long. This is done with an attitude of thanks to the Lord and to the folks that we meet. This was great…. Now, WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
COOKING FOR 100

The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.

The SCHNITZEL is the GERMAN October meal of Delight! The American equivalent is The Chicken Fried Steak. We have been to IHOP, Denny’s, Cracker Barrel, and others for our favorite comfort meal of chicken fried steak, chicken fried turkey and chicken fried chicken. Each portion was on a heap of mashed potatoes with an avalanche of gravy. NOW how do you recreate this for the street scene?

SLICE IT UP. You already have the idea for everything else… You take a bag of deep fried and battered chicken from COSTCO, WALMART, CHEF STORE and place the dozens of readied goodness on a baking rack. Once they are golden delicious and crispy, place them on the cutting board. Use a pizza roller or large knife for quick slicing.
OH yes, There Will Be Gravy! This is the whole reason for the October season. Buy it by the Carnation gallon can or make it fresh. Be sure to add chunks of ground sausage. All of this goes on a bed of mashed potatoes with the skin diced well. Add your blessing and there is God’s kindness to your people in a few moments of prep cook time.

This much effort should be given in the bestest Evangelistic outreach with equal or more planning, prayer and preaching!
Did you know that (1) ENTIRE chapter of John Chapter 13 can be folded into a business card shape and size.

Yes – I use GASBUDDY.com
I start with a DuckDuckGo.com search. Price fixing is the life of gas stations. This week: I paid $4.29 near the Seahawks Stadium and then found the exact same price at a gas station in Everett.
WANNA BEAT THE GAS PRICES – Team Up on SAFEWAY points. You know, buy at the register, tap in your personal phone number and you get .10 off when you buy $100 bucks of groceries. Team up as a family and you have $1.00 or $2.00 off, as planned. costco does not do that and they do not announce their prices.
NO – they do not sponsor us. Always a ministry; never monetized.
