Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.

I LOVE IN & OUT BURGER!
I LOVE EVANGELISM!

Now if I could only imagine an idea where the two ideas were combined….
Alice and I were in Cali in the 2017 year helping at my folks’ ranch and helping with AWANA at their church.
I found that this love of evangelism followed us in every city. It was a gift from God. (Romans 11:21 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.) He gave me a heart for this lifestyle and God does not take back that blessing.
God gave me a hunch of an idea:
Make a flyer to invite anyone to have lunch with me at IN & OUT Burger at the Stanford Ranch location. #1 Call me, #2 Bring the Flyer & #3 Answer the Questions on the Back. I eat, you and your family eat I will buy your meal.

We printed 1,000 of these flyers

Alice was worried that we would be buying a thousand meals every day!!! I assured her that even though everyone wants a FREE IN & OUT Burger meal, the idea of a Salvation Q&A Bible study would keep even the poorest from running to this freebie. (Matthew 7:13 “narrow is the way that leadeth to light, and few there be that findeth it.”)
My guess was 10 would call: 8 would be Believers inviting us to lunch, to cheer us on and 2 would ask for a meal. Yes. The 8 called and gave thanks to God for a creative testimony. 1 “physic” called. She was in a different city and misunderstood where Rocklin was located. The other was a mechanical engineer who thought it was an OPEN FREE COUPON from IN & OUT.

The rest of the story…
3 years later we were back in Sactown, in 2020. We were helping a preschool with emergency locks on a door. We stopped by J&J Locksmith on Fulton and the guy behind counter laughed and said, “Hey Aaron, Can I take you up on your lunch offer today?” He pulled out the flyer that he had kept by the register for 3 years!!!
To God Be The Glory for His Testimony !

May God bless you as you tell God what your needs are and then He will lead other to help you in your daily life. If I can answer any questions about these resource bulletins, please call me.
In Christ’s Care,
Chaplain Aaron & Mrs. Alice
