Changeover (2016) – A girl grieving the horrific loss of her parents moves in with her uncle and nephew, who try their best to make a new family.
Storyline: After Haley Thompson suffers the loss of her parents in a fatal car wreck, she moves in with her almost estranged single uncle and his young son. Still trying to cope with her parents death, Madeline suffers from PTSD, and other mental health issues. They must attempt to move on and make a life together as a new family. Reviews: “The Changeover is a real look at how loss can effect a family. It brings to the forefront how family has to step up and take care of family. Also touching on teen suicide and how not dealing properly with grief can affect you worse than the grief.
