I love the word Koinonia! It must mean everything that I want a church fellowship to be for me. It should include potlucks and group events with fun outings and those people should like me and be like me – BUT I am an indentured slave in the Roman era sitting next to the mayor. We are nuthin’ like each other. How do we remotely find a common ground for friendship? Its more than simple Koinonia friendship, Paul will bring up Timothy to the next level of that One Word That Says Everything.
