The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.

🧀 1️⃣ Blessed Are the Crunchy
The tortilla chip teaches us something important…
A chip alone is just a chip.
But together? Ohhh… together they become a mountain 😄
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” (Hebrews 10:25)
One chip carries beans.
Another carries cheese.
Another carries salsa.
Everybody brings something.
👉 Some bring encouragement
👉 Some bring wisdom
👉 Some bring hot sauce 😂
The Kingdom is built the same way.
🔥 Point: YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO SERVE or EAT ALONE.
🫘 2️⃣ The Refried Principle — God Can Use You Again
Now let us speak of the sacred refried bean 😄
It literally means:
👉 cooked once
👉 used again
OH THAT’LL PREACH.
Because some people think:
“I failed.”
“I burned out.”
“I messed up.”
But God says: “My grace is sufficient for thee.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Refried beans are proof:
👉 reused does not mean worthless
👉 second chances can still feed multitudes
🔥 Point: GOD STILL HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOU.
🌶️ 3️⃣ Don’t Fear the Jalapeño
Every great nacho mountain has a little spice 😄🔥
And life does too.
Some moments sting.
Some seasons burn.
But heat develops flavor.
“Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” (James 1:2)
Trials can sharpen us…
wake us up…
make us depend on God more deeply.
And besides… without a little jalapeño… it’s just a cheese pile 😂
