I’ll be honest—I’m not usually someone who gets excited about documentaries. But when the subject matter is engaging enough, I’ll give one a chance. In this conversation, I talk with Craig DeHut, co-founder of Appian Media.
What began as a passion for filmmaking has grown into a mission to create free, professional-quality documentaries that help modern readers better understand the ancient world of the Bible.
Through beautiful visuals and on-location storytelling across biblical landscapes, Craig and his team are helping bridge the gap between Scripture and the world we live in today. We talk about the heart behind Appian Media, why visual storytelling can deepen our understanding of Scripture, and how these documentaries have become an incredible free resource for families, churches, and homeschoolers.
