TODAY is the Book of James.

LAST WEEK… let us seek for wisdom, God’s Wisdom, in the Book of Proverbs. This compilation of truth, written by King Solomon and others is a daily guide for life in everyway.
THIS WEEK it is a jump back to the New Testament, The Book of James. The human step brother of Christ, James was probably the first to write in the New Testament. This is not written by James the Apostle, the brother of John, sons of Zebedee. That James was executed in Acts 12. This is the step brother that did not believe until after the Resurrection.

WHERE IS MY LOCAL CONSULATE?

Chaplain’s Note: A friend asked me this last week, “What do I do if I have applied for a renewal for the entire last presidential 4 years and now I could be on the watch list for getting kicked out of the country during this year with the new president?” This is a real problem. Clerks are given priority instructions and wait times are forever; then sometimes you are not allowed to wait in person. Attorneys are expensive. My first advice is to ask the regional Congressmember or Senator to give oversight. This has been my help for others in the past. You need a big politician to motivate a local FEDERAL agency. Hope this direction helps.
