Pastor Joel and Open Door Baptist Church in Kent, WA have lead the Biblical charge of “Preaching the Gospel to every creature.” Their heartbeat has been to share the easily understood message of Salvation through the shed blood of Christ. EVANGELIZING YOUR NEIGHBOR!
WHOAH! This is probably the toughest out there. Its different that evangelizing the tribal groups in the Indonesian Islands and definitely more awkward that being the street corner BULLHORN evangelist. Yet, the Lord has already commanded us to start with “our Jerusalem” before we go on to “our Judeah.”
YES… evangelizing your apartment building is by gentle words and true lifestyle that shows a Christlike example.

You see there are several ways to start the conversation. No one will ever be caught off guard by me talking about my sweet and wonderful Alice who is totally patient with my off-the-wall personality. So, no one should ever be caught off guard by your love for the Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ!
Side Effect of Homefront Evangelism: You show the love FOR Christ as a natural lifestyle and you talk about Him all the time. God’s Word is your vacation place! You get nick-named the preacher or the deacon. The best I ever heard was the Safeway clerk on MLK, Seattle asked, “Are you the checkstand Chaplain?” Not bad at all. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15
