Fighting Scripture with Scripture! – Matthew 4:1-11 & Luke 4:1-13

No sooner had Jesus begun His ministry; but he is DRIVEN into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit. This alone is tough, solitary time without creature comforts or human friendships. To add to this, Jesus fasted for 40 days! I can’t imagine this. To make matters worse, humanly speaking, that ole devil comes around to tempt Jesus, using God’s own words against Jesus. How can you be prepared for this extreme combat???

This was Jesus: Tempted and Obeying.
