You have been giving or receiving all year long. This is done with an attitude of thanks to the Lord and to the folks that we meet. This was great…. Now, WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

👩‍🍳PLEASE WELCOME THE QUARTERMASTER!!!👩‍🍳

The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.

Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.

🛒 1. Gather the Goodness!

A hearty meal doesn’t need a complicated recipe or an expensive shopping list! Start with spaghetti noodles, cooked and shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and a little chicken broth. Add diced tomatoes for color and flavor, chopped onions, garlic, and a generous helping of shredded cheddar cheese. A little chicken bouillon, black pepper, and Italian seasoning bring everything together. These simple ingredients can feed five or six friends around a Bible study table or be multiplied to serve a hundred hungry neighbors. Good food, good fellowship, and a whole lot of chicken! 🐓🧀

🍲 2. Stir Up Something Wonderful!

Cook the spaghetti until tender, drain, and set aside. In a large pot, combine the soups, chicken broth, seasonings, onions, and tomatoes, stirring over medium heat until creamy and hot. Add the fully cooked chicken, fold in the noodles, and stir in the cheddar until everything is coated with cheesy goodness. Add a splash of broth if the sauce becomes too thick. For a baked version, transfer everything into large casserole pans, sprinkle extra cheese over the top, and bake at 350°F until bubbly and heated throughout to 165°F. One pot, a few simple ingredients, and enough comfort to fill a barnyard! 🥘❤️

📖 3. Serve a Meal, Share a Message!

Whether we’re serving college students, friends in recovery housing, or neighbors gathered around a park picnic table, chicken spaghetti is an easy meal to prepare, transport, and share. Serve generous portions in sturdy paper bowls with strong forks, a napkin, and perhaps a slice of garlic bread. Keep hot food at 135°F or above during service. Better yet, sit down with five or six guests, learn their names, listen to their stories, and enjoy a conversation that can naturally lead to the encouragement of Scripture. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 4:4 that man shall not live by bread alone. With every meal goes a message, and with every message goes a meal! That’s the heart of CHAPEL.today. 🙏🍝

GAS PRICES

⛽CHEAP GAS is in the odd places. Get gas outside of Seattle. Best prices are either in Fife at the 7-11 on 3309 Pacific Hwy E. If your looking for a great deal north of Seattle:🚗

This is a Easter Egg gas op. To find the lowest price could be a regular thing. This was out of the blue and not repeated the next day. The sign said “$4.29” on Thursday and on the next is was back to the normal $4.49. Be nice to the staff, if you missed their big day. Thank the good Lord for those days that you received an unexpected blessing! 🚗

HYPERMiling: Smart Ideas to Boost Mileage

HYPERMiling Idea 101: Coast to a red light. That is an obvious. The difference is a couple of seconds and a bunch of gas.

I’ve been doing this wrong for the last week… There is a red light, I’m supposed to put it into NEUTRAL and coast. Going down a hill and into a curve… NEUTRAL again. Going down Grant’s Pass – please use your engine to slow you. (you get the idea.) Be smart, Drive from Coast to Coast.

A friend of mine mentioned that you cannot go into neutral with hybrid cars. For what it’s worth, you cannot also do this with electric cars, motorcycles, or airplanes. This idea is best used on good old-fashioned stick shift trucks, but I use it on my Ram 1500 6-cyl, with a full-sized electrical box truck.

⛽ Hypermiling #1: Coast to the next red light. 🚦 Hypermiling #2: Watch for stale lights. 🛞 Hypermiling #3: Check tire pressure monthly. 🚚 Hypermiling #4: Remove unnecessary weight. 🌄 Hypermiling #5: Use hills to your advantage. 🚗 Hypermiling #6: Gentle acceleration beats jackrabbit starts.
