Today is The Second Book of Samuel

LAST WEEK: Welcome to the Scot-Irish people group known as the Book of Galatians. The Apostle Paul had the privilege of bring the Gospel to them in the book of Acts several times. Here in the Book of Galatians, the Lord will ask them why they got so offended from the TRUTH that they had to abandon the Scriptures.

THIS WEEK: We see the beginning of the kingship of David. It starts out with civil war and has many ups and downs. This is The Book of 2nd Samuel. You might find it in other Bibles as the continued writing of Samuel’s team, called 2nd Book of the Kings in the series of 4. Match Scripture for Scripture when ever in doubt, God’s Word does not contradict or forget anything! Thank you LORD!

WHERE IS MY LOCAL CONSULATE?

Chaplain’s Note: A friend asked me this last week, “What do I do if I have applied for a renewal for the entire last presidential 4 years and now I could be on the watch list for getting kicked out of the country during this year with the new president?” This is a real problem. Clerks are given priority instructions and wait times are forever; then sometimes you are not allowed to wait in person. Attorneys are expensive. My first advice is to ask the regional Congressmember or Senator to give oversight. This has been my help for others in the past. You need a big politician to motivate a local FEDERAL agency. Hope this direction helps.
