People who are doing wrong are quickly complaining about the authorities that are placed over them. We naturally grumble at the parking Nazi, feel uncomfortable when a cop is driving right behind us, and let the TV tell us that the emperor is to blame for our coffee prices at the local drive-thru. Huh! Do you realize that the Bible was not written in politically correct U.S.A. in the recent woke years of the world? The Scripture calls the king – “God’s Anointed”. He was chosen by the LORD for reasons to bless and reasons to bring judgment. From the Old Testament to the New, we are commanded to be Honoring God’s Anointed Leaders.
