You have been giving or receiving all year long. This is done with an attitude of thanks to the Lord and to the folks that we meet. This was great…. Now, WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
👩🍳PLEASE WELCOME THE QUARTERMASTER!!!👩🍳
The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.

🍲 TODAY’S MENU “A Cup Full of Blessing” Chicken • Rice • Gravy • Toasted Toppings
🍗 1️⃣ HOW TO PROVIDE — Start with Strong Ingredients
Every good meal begins with thoughtful preparation. For this comforting cup of blessing, larger chunks of chicken work beautifully because they stay tender, hearty, and recognizable after baking and serving. Instead of shredding or crushing the chicken too finely, keep the pieces generous so every cup feels full and satisfying. Rice, creamy gravy, and savory seasonings create the warm foundation, while crispy onions, bacon, and breadcrumbs transform a humble family recipe into something welcoming and visually inviting for every guest. How do you go from “My Mom’s Casserole” to restaurant quality giving?

🔥 2️⃣ HOW TO CREATE — Build Warmth and Texture
This meal shines when it is prepared in stages with care and consistency. Begin by filling the wide-bottom soup cups ahead of time so portions stay even and serving becomes simple during outreach. Once filled, placing 30 prepared cups into the oven at low heat—around 170 degrees—keeps the meal hot while gently firming the top layer into a beautiful toasted crust. As the breadcrumbs crisp and the toppings warm together, the aroma becomes part of the invitation itself, creating food that looks comforting, smells welcoming, and tastes homemade.

🥄 3️⃣ HOW TO SHARE — Serve Comfort with Confidence
The wide-bottom soup cup is one of the best parts of this entire serving idea because it creates stability, warmth, and generous presentation all at once. The cup allows volunteers to serve consistent portions quickly while giving enough room for toppings to sit proudly on top without spilling. Easy-to-carry cups make outreach smoother for guests standing outdoors or moving through a serving line, and every toasted topping adds a sense of care that says, “This meal was prepared especially for you.” In every cup is more than chicken and gravy—it is dignity, hospitality, and hope served warm.

HYPERMiling: Smart Ideas to Boost Mileage
HYPERMiling Idea 101: Coast to a red light. That is an obvious. The difference is a couple of seconds and a bunch of gas.
I’ve been doing this wrong for the last week… There is a red light, I’m supposed to put it into NEUTRAL and coast. Going down a hill and into a curve… NEUTRAL again. Going down Grant’s Pass – please use your engine to slow you. (you get the idea.) Be smart, Drive from Coast to Coast.
A friend of mine mentioned that you cannot go into neutral with hybrid cars. For what it’s worth, you cannot also do this with electric cars, motorcycles, or airplanes. This idea is best used on good old-fashioned stick shift trucks, but I use it on my Ram 1500 6-cyl, with electrical box truck.
Yes – I use GASBUDDY.com⛽
⛽CHEAP GAS is in the odd places. Get gas outside of Seattle. Best prices are either in Fife at the 7-11 on 3309 Pacific Hwy E. If your looking for a great deal north of Seattle:🚗

This week, I was desperate. We paid 5.39 at the Tulalip Market 2832 116th ST NE, Marysville, WA. Be a good planner and it will pay off.🚗
NO – they do not sponsor us. Always a ministry; never monetized.
