The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.
🌽🔥 From Expected to Extreme — The 3-Step Corn Dog Ascension
1️⃣ Be Faithful with the Basic
The concept of a full-filling corn dog can only be found at the state fair as the best of fare. This is a simple dog on a stick wrapped in slightly sweet corn meal and then deep fried to a golden perfection. Yet, a corn dog as a staple item on its own is not enough to quell the hunger of a full sized human. Plan to GIVE (3)
Start with the classic.
Hot. Crispy. Generous.
Three per grown man.
Mustard ready. Serve it with a smile.
Use the talent in your hand.
Do it well.
2️⃣ Get Creative with Courage
To give the glorious meal on a stick is to give comfort to the family, to the church folks or to the stranger. This is a blessing.
Would you like to grow your ministry? enhance your skills? for the sake of the Gospel of Christ? It is very simple: Give your talents to the Lord and he will multiple your abilities. It is the parable of the talents in real life.
Take a simple corn dog for example: Slice it into “cowboy sushi.”
Add sauces.
Try Korean street-style crunch.
Same core. Bolder expression. Faith multiplied becomes flavor. Welcome to the next level. Now give great and give the Gospel.
3️⃣ Serve with Joy, Not Fear
Whether simple corn dog or sublime Korean masterpiece —
it’s still love on a stick.
Don’t bury the talent. Don’t shrink the vision. Let generosity grow.
Expected → Creative → Courageous.
