My 6v Eveready lantern was the best idea for church camp at Sly Park, up there, north of Sacramento. This light would change the darkness into a beam of summer’s day light as we walked. We could see everything in front of our feet and whistle along with safety from tripping or even coming eye-to-eye with a raccoon!
