The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.

MEATOAF is an entire meal in a slice! We may have complained as a small kid; but quickly found that this love intense dinner entrée was hunger’s coup de grâce of the comfort foods. Meat loaf equals comfort. This may seem a formidable task for the first time creator; but in no time, it becomes an easy to complete meal. For us personally, it is dinner today and meatloaf sandwiches for later. Feeding of the 5,000 is possible with a little prayer and planning. Oddly enough, on one Thanksgiving meal event, a friend created a vegan walnut loaf with cashew gravy! That was amazing!
SERVING IDEAS:
(1) Large slice is better than seconds, or waiting for seconds.
Add a large serving of mashed potatoes and this meal goes a long way,
Add gravy on everything, add butter, then add more gravy!
Add BBQ sauce to the meatloaf sandwiches for a perfect smile.
There a hundred ways to make this blessing. Whatever you do, remember the the Old Testament advises the use of SALT for preservation and flavor. They also added floral notes of frankincense in their meals. Be sure to add seasoning. I like cumin, oregano, and a pinch of garlic. This gives a hearty flavor. Alice and I visited a restaurant in Marysville, WA that served meatloaf – It was flavorless hamburger! Our search is still pressing on. We heard that one restaurant has BACON infused meatloaf. We are searching for that location to be verified!
