With over 50 years of serving in the DEAF, DEAF-BLIND, Disabled, and then the adoption of almost 20 children, Shasta Bible College has conferred an honorary Doctorate of Humanity. WELL deserved. We all are grateful for so many years of giving volunteer living for others. May the Lord bless her efforts with many others choosing to follow her self-sacrificial lifestyle of living to give.

COOKING FOR 100
The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.
The glorious comfort of a hot grilled cheese and ham sandwich. It says more in one bite, than a thousand words of advice. In fact, I am so convinced that the value of an American grilled ham and cheese sandwich, that I personally believe grilled ham and cheese sandwich is the American equivalent of the loaves and the fishes.
Chaplain Aaron loves CHEESE, CHEESE… and more CHEESE! The end result was buttered goodness of sourdough with piles of shredded love. Tray after tray were set into the oven, toasting to perfection.
We had piping hot tomato soup that we added to this day’s adventure in the cool of a December evening in downtown Seattle. Our regular Wednesday outreach for Belltown met the need of 70 hearty soul in mid of the city. The Gospel was given, the grub was given… and we left the rest to the work of the Holy Spirit to move in the soul of each person.
This much effort should be given in the bestest Evangelistic outreach with equal or more planning, prayer and preaching!
