COOKING FOR 100
The US Army, US Navy, and US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for 100 servings of any and everything.
Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, and plates, and everything was ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.
Mrs. Loos did this in the most amazing way that I have ever seen. Chaplain Whit was moving from the West Coast to the Sunshine Panhandle State. This required the send-off of a huge blessing.

This is not a secret recipe; this is standard planning. Mrs. Loos told the family team to help her with everything. It started with mustard-painted pork ribs. Then the seasoning stuck like love to the hearty oinkster ribs. They were sllllllloooooowwwwly cooked in a smoker until slightly crisp on the edges. (Don’t muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn – ie, samples please!)
This much effort should be given in the best Evangelistic outreach with equal or more planning, prayer, and preaching!
