PLEASE WELCOME THE QUARTERMASTER!!!

You have been giving or you have been receiving all year long. This is done with an attitude of thanks to the Lord and to the folks that we meet. This was great…. Now WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

COOKING FOR 100

The US Army, US Navy and the US Marines have a book of recipes called the Quartermaster’s Cookbook. It’s a small compilation of 2k+ recipes of how to plan for a 100 servings of any and everything.

Her epic meal preparation was known for over a decade. This included providing meals for everyone who joined the Gold Country AWANA program every Wednesday evening. This was a compilation of cooking gear, serving materials, plates and everything were ready in advance. Then there were the surprising meals that were so wonderful, that a buffet restaurant would be jealous.

Alice’s version of the TOASTED PB&J Sandwich includes hearty wheat toast. For 100, this would be a full cookie sheet of bread slices in the oven. One website says PEANUT BUTTER both sides and then jelly in the middle. My jobsite experience has been that TOASTED and peanut butter on one side lasts for 6 hours to my late lunch time.

Your heart is to care for those in your community, everywhere that AWANA, VBS, repair day at church or another group meal. In the past you discounted the idea of a PB&J, but I tell you, if you do it right, it is the best sandwich on the planet. Toasted PB&J brings back the best childhood memories. Trust me. When you give a meal that shows family kindness, you have represented God’s love to a complete stranger.
I’m ready for another. Thank you Alice!!!

Did you know that (1) ENTIRE chapter of John Chapter 3 can be folded into a business card shape and size.
