The Blessing of a Simple Hot Dog
This is not a SUPER FOOD, it is a comfort food. This is better than any emotional support med that Pfizer Drugs has ever concocted. A hot dog is a simple mix of every meat in a tubular form. This is the bestest All American Food on the Planet. Why is it the best? It is the total idea of the easiest and best day ever. It is the baseball game that was fun. It was the church picnic where you met friends. It is the pit stop at 7-11 that satisfied the hunger on every day in the city.
When We Multiply The HOT DOGS for Christ
Jesus fed the 5,000. How much did it cost the disciples? NOTHING. How much understanding did they receive from sharing enough food to feed the 5,000+ people? EVERYTHING. Jesus taught the words of truth and life while the disciples did their part.
TEACHING with HOT DOGS
This is the tough part: you have 3-5 minutes of attention while someone is in line, loads the hot dog onto the plate and then they are gone. You have 3-5 minutes to share God’s Word to that one soul, face-to-face. How do you do this? The Lord will help you understand. James 1:5 ASK for direction. My advice: Quote God’s Word; quote a phrase – never quote a paraphrase. You have 3 minutes; make that phrase from God’s Word alive, like Christ.
