Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.
Brrrr…. Can I have a hot cup of really chili with cheese?
The idea of hot chili is so appealing to everyone. The summer is full of chili cook-offs; but that is not what I want right now. I’m hungry and the mental food item that will hit the spot is literally a Cup of Hot Chili.
We know the canned ingredients and the name brand canned flavor. When you or I go out to lunch, we want the standard flavor, taste and ingredients. We know Hormel chili and plain cheese on top is the cure for a thousand winter nights.
1 gallon can of Hormel Chili
+ 1 gallon of generic = good flavor
1 short, fat, paper hot cup
Shredder cheese – loads
If it is hot it is righteous! If it is paper it is recyclable and microwaveable. Styrofoam is great; but they are top heavy and they cannot be put into a microwave. Do you want to reheat on the street? Have a thermos of super-hot water, place your pan of chili beans in a second pan and then pour the extremely hot water into that second pan. Instant food warmer!

Onions? They are tedious to prepare. If you need onions, the food stores have 1-5 gallon bags of minced onions. Hot Sauce is a must. You or your friends can season to their hearts’ content. The load on the cheese!!! The visual of a heaping helping is the measure of your generosity. Thou shalt not be chintzy, parsimonious or stingy.

Now GIVE THE GOSPEL!
Thou shalt not be chintzy, parsimonious or stingy.
Give a creative take-away for the sake of the Gospel: A Bible verse pog or Scripture coin, a passage of Scripture key tag, a poker card with a set of verses, a tri-fold card with a Salvation invitation. You met the physical; now go meet the eternal spiritual need. A smile while sharing the Gospel and …. Thou shalt not be chintzy, parsimonious or stingy.

May God bless you as you tell God what your needs are and then He will lead other to help you in your daily life. If I can answer any questions about these resource bulletins, please call me.
In Christ’s Care,
Chaplain Aaron & Mrs. Alice
