Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.
There is something about a hot cup of hearty soup in the winter. It is really easy to open a can of Campbell’s soup for Progresso soup to have an easy to make meal in a couple of minutes. I am not that smart to make it from scratch so I will always follow the directions.
The directions say that this will serve more than one person. What will I do with the extra to servings? Perhaps, I can share it with the neighbor kid. The instructions on the can tell me I have the ability to make enough for both me and my neighbor.
Sharing a meal with a stranger. Welcome to the next level.

Did you know that the instructions on the back of those soup cans are also on the back of the larger soup cans? I have found that you can get Dinty Moore in the cup size, quart size and the gallon size. Can you imagine that? One gallon of Dinty Moore! This may be too much happiness.
I went to one of the larger stores and found that everything was available in the gallon size. They also had large cups of every dimension. Within a few minutes I had a short, fat cup for soup, plastic utensils, and my idea of a really good cup of soup. I have made a regular habit to bring a couple of extra servings to the same location. This is only one time a week. I did this on Wednesday evening. When you do something consistent, and you are giving, and you have a good report with the neighbor kids, they will grow to count on you. Good news travels. I started with a TV tray. That was all that I needed to accomplish every Wednesday evening for the first month.
Feeding the 5,000 begins with ONE EXTRA MEAL.

Cook what you like to eat and your neighbor kids will be grateful.
Safety tips: establish a location that is helpful for their future direction. If it is near your home, they will follow you back. If it is near the Union Gospel Mission, you can always direct them that way. If it is in the inner City, you are meeting very immediate needs in a safe environment. If it is near your church, they will camp right there at your church steps. Safely and wisely pick a place to become established.
May God bless you as you tell God what your needs are and then He will lead other to help you in your daily life. If I can answer any questions about these resource bulletins, please call me.
In Christ’s Care,
Chaplain Aaron & Mrs. Alice
