I am tired of moving every couple of years or sometimes months. I would like to call some place my home and own my own home. Every time that I feel that I am settling down; my landlord takes away my security and I am on the move again. Is there no end to this? YES, God has already written a REAL ESTATE solution for you and me. It is not free and it is not easy; but God made a promise to the Believer and God never breaks His promise. God’s Guide to Real Estate Ownership – Psalm 37
…a message by Chaplain Aaron

  1. These are True Practical Promises.
    Matthew 6:32 “…your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”

    a. Thou shalt be fed. – v. 3 You will have lunch; you’ll get food.
    b. He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. – v. 4
    I’m not making this up. This is God talking to the Believer who follows God.
    c. He shall bring it to pass. – v. 5 God continues to explain that He will make it happen.
    d. He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light – v. 6
    God immediately says that the Believer will then be known for their righteous choices. Everyone will that God works in you because you follow God.
    e. Thy judgment as the noonday – v. 6 Judgments?
    That means you decisions. God will show that your decisions were clearly wise. You planned well.
    f. Shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace – v. 11
    A good business man is a man that is not an emotional mess. Peace is a very real paycheck.
    g. The LORD upholdeth the righteous – v. 17, 24
    Yes, and there is more. The LORD (the self-existent eternal Jehovah YAHWEH) will you Him to lean on when you need help.
    h. Not be ashamed in the evil time – v. 19
    Bad days won’t be the end of you; you will be OK.
    i. Days of famine they shall be satisfied – v. 19
    Famine? We have enough food. See us? We are not skinny. We are healthy.
    j. Not seen the righteous forsaken – v. 25
    I have never been abandoned by God. I have run from Him; but He has never dumped me on the side of the road because I was in need.
    k. Nor his seed begging bread – v. 25
    rue Believers who are in a church family will never need to hold a sign on the street corner. Guaranteed
    l. His seed is blessed – v. 26
  2. These are REAL ESTATE promises.
    a. Shalt thou dwell in the land – v. 3
    This is lodging and you staying the night. Fact #1, it is the land where you live and sleep.
    b. They shall inherit the earth– v. 9
    This is Earth land, so it is not a spiritual land. Fact#2 it is REAL ESTATE on Earth.
    c. The meek shall inherit the earth – v. 11 Fact #3 Inheritance.
    d. Their inheritance shall be for ever – v. 18
    Fact #4 You will always have a home of one kind or another, always. Either here or in Heaven.
    e. Him shall inherit the earth – v. 22
    Once again, the Believer will be given long term housing, in a place where evil people lived before.
    f. Dwell for evermore – v. 27 Look! See it again?
    g. Righteous shall inherit the land – v. 29
    Fact #5 Righteous people will take over the land of evil people.
    h. Dwell therein for ever – v. 29
    We are back to lodging! You will always have a place to sleep.
    i. Exalt thee to inherit the land – v. 34
  3. The positive requirements are real.
    But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

    a. Trust in the LORD. – v. 3 Your trust in God is the first thing always.
    b. Do good. – v. 3, 27 Now go out and do good to everyone. Galatians 6:10
    c. Delight thyself also in the LORD. – v. 4
    d. Commit thy way unto the LORD. – v. 5
    e. Rest in the LORD. – v. 7 Now, get some sleep. God has got it covered.
    f. Wait patiently for him – v. 7 Wait for it….
    g. Wait upon the LORD. – v. 9 Wait for it….
    h. Wait on the LORD – v. 34 This is the similar word that is used in verse 3.
    i. Keep his way – v. 34 Repeat this process of daily trusting in Christ.
  4. The negative instructions are true.
    ”Count the cost” Luke 14:28

    a. Fret not thyself because of evildoers. – v. 1
    The time that you spend in worry is time wasted. So turn off the TV and pickup your Bible.
    b. Neither be thou envious – v. 1 The next problem is when you see rich people with their wealth
    c. Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth – v. 7 Now your emotions are angry at good people who are doing well and you say in your heart, “That’s not fair!”
    d. Cease from anger – v. 8 Those emotions burn like a slow burning fire of hate for that person.
    e. Forsake wrath – v. 8 Now you have spent so much time in self pity and jealousy and anger, that you can justify doing harm to another person to get what you want.
    f. Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil – v. 8 David says, “Stop doing that.”
    g. Depart from evil – v. 27 Just stop being angry and start being grateful.
