______________________________________________________________

Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.

Everyone has leftover clothing.

I grew out of this pair of pants, that shirt, that sweater
What do I do with my clothing? Give it to a large organization that will do something good or something weird? Is it possible that I may give my gently used clothing to someone who needs it?

Clean out the closet, for a purpose.

The clothes are clean and ironed. Everything is properly folded as if it just came from the laundry. Now take a simple piece of paper and a felt tip marker. Write down the size of the shirt or the pants. Make it easy to identify. You lost weight, or gained weight, right down the size of this old belt. It’s okay to give it away.
Now put one set of clothing into a ziplock bag. A gallon sized or 2 gallon size.
Check it out! You have an outfit entirely cleaned and ready. Socks? They better be close to new. Underwear? They better be new. Trust me, you buy stuff that doesn’t fit.

Don’t wear it, share it.

Lastly, add a note of blessing. Put a coin in the pocket. Put a mini Bible in the back pocket. Put a gift certificate to a local fast food and the shirt pocket.
Have fun give clothing

May God bless you as you tell God what your needs are and then He will lead other to help you in your daily life. If I can answer any questions about these resource bulletins, please call me.
In Christ’s Care,
Chaplain Aaron & Mrs. Alice
