Acts Chapter 21 – Swimming Against The Current

There are times in the life of a Christ following Believer when you will stand up for what you know is WHERE God has called you to go. This direction matches the Scripture; but does not make any sense to you or your family. Good people will advise you to do something different; but you are ready for the consequences for following God’s lead to leave and go on your assigned path. The Apostle Paul knew the suicide mission for the sake of the Gospel and he was ready to Swim Against The Current.

  3. CALLED to a Purpose
    Acts 21:13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
    a. Called By God to Suffer
    Acts 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
    Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

    1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
