Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.

…from our 2009 Book “What If I Had 30 Left To Live

Alice and I had lunch at Jack-in-the-Box with a girl named Danae (she works the street and her boyfriend knocks her around) and a random dude named Peter who could not sit still for 1 second. We were talking of everything when someone mentioned Jesus and the subject got around to when he was born. So I got to thinking….

If Jesus was born in 2010 rather than 2,000 years ago, I asked them WHERE would Jesus have been born? Peter quickly piped in with “Israel, of course, because he was a Jew.” Ok, I thought. This is an idea. Danae being of African decent suggested a much more intriguing idea. “I think that he would have been born in a Third World country where there were a lot of problems, like hunger and, like that.” I asked her “You mean a place like Aurora Ave. N?” They laughed. No seriously, I think that if Jesus was born nowadays, he might have lived on the streets off the 99 in Seattle. There are people from every tribe & nation, oodles of people who know about God and then there are those in desperate need who make up the people on Aurora Ave. N. My thought, I told Danae, was that you could see Jesus on any given day and he would be forgiving the people that come to him. I wish that this quick lunch gives her long term hope. (Back to work for us; its 1:40)

Whether the street is Del Paso Heights in Sacramento or Aurora Ave. N. in Seattle Jesus sends his disciples to teach and to heal. When you give a kind word and remind people that they have already been forgiven, they heal from the inside out.

May God bless you as you tell God what your needs are and then He will lead other to help you in your daily life. If I can answer any questions about these resource bulletins, please message or call me.
In Christ’s Care,
Chaplain Aaron & Mrs. Alice
