Last week was the First Epistle to the church at Thessalonica. This letter encouraged and instructed them and us. Today we return to the history of the Old Testament and pick up at the Book of Ezra. During the reign of Xerxes the King of Persia, Ezra and a large group from Babylon were allowed to return home to Israel. Let’s take it from the top of chapter 1 in The Book of Ezra.
