Welcome to Your Community Resource Page. As a Seattle Resource Chaplain – my goal has always been to provide for the needs of my neighbors in Seattle. Mrs. Alice and I have been focused on the exact area that we live and help.
IDEAS THAT HELP – MEAL KITS
You are driving to the corner of a shopping center or a street intersection and there is a man or woman with their cardboard sign asking for help. You know that the need and they want, just like you. Are they safe? No idea. How do you quickly share a blessing? HAVE A MEAL PACK.
Alice and I started in Aurora Ave. N. as motel managers. Zero connections, new to Seattle. We found that we could ask for extra groceries from Bethany Community Church, divided up the blessings and share with all who were in need. To this day, we still find that MEAL PACKS MEET THE NEED FOR THE DAY. It show that you care enough to assemble ONE MEAL and GIVE TO THE NEED.
Oh, by the way… give the Gospel of Christ right along with that meal blessing. I have always said, “WITH EVERY MEAL, GOES A MESSAGE & WITH EVER MESSAGE GOES A MEAL. Jesus always taught in this manner.
