If I were to pin my hopes on the Messiah for ME, I would expect great things. Yet, my Jesus was crucified in Matt.27. I would feel bummed-out and confused at best. Then MY Messiah shows up in Matt. 28 and tells me that I am supposed to be the Gospel giver, and He goes to heaven in front of me. What is next? The other disciples and I am stuck in Chapter 1 just Watching, Willing & Waiting.
