LAST WEEK WAS THE BOOK of JOHN. That made Scripture reading very easy. I may even go back to the Book of John for a regular reminder! On to the Book of Joshua. The historical conquests of Israel going into the Promised Land. This adds details to their travels and explains God’s view of their moving into their home land. A good verse to memorize is Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.“
