It is our privilege to include a friend and mentor, Pastor Verne Nakasone from Foothill Bible Church. His influence in my life has encouraged me to follow the Lord in every area. I’ve had the honor of looking up to Pastor Verne since I was in High School. His leadership at Foothill Bible Church has been a real joy to follow in a faithful example. Pastor Verne and Mrs. Donna have both been prayerful encouragers to Alice and me over our years of friendship.

Pastor Verne Nakasone
Pastor Verne has been the pastor/teacher at Foothill Bible Church for the past 42 years. His primary responsibility has always been the shepherding and teaching of God’s Word. He is a graduate of the Sacramento Bible Institute. Pastor Verne serves as a chaplain with Sutter Roseville Medical Center. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Fundamental Churches of America International. Pastor has also been President and Trustee of the Regional Executive Committee of the Northern California IFCA . He is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the IFCA California Church Extension Committee.
Pastor Verne and his wife Donna were married in 1980 and have been blessed with seven children and four grandchildren.
