Have you noticed that BELIEVERS who complain the loudest and pick at everything are those who also do not ask graciously ask God for their Daily Bread. These spiritual “Karens” range from church dropouts to pastors and even to chaplains like me as well. “Passive Aggression” and other ways of finding fault with their fellow Christian is the lifestyle
When Complaining BELIEVERS Forget To Ask The Father…You will be thankful for the blessings from YOUR Father in heaven when you just ask.
Matthew Chapter 7:1-12
…a message by Chaplain Aaron
1. Stop Picking – vs. 1-5
The context is talking to and about Believers. It says “brother” not stranger. When it talks about the stranger or unbeliever, verse 6 states – don’t do it. This passage is about continued Kingdom Lifestyle and this is between Believers. Yes, we are supposed to judge; (1Cor. 5:11-13) but not pick, pick, pick.
2. Fix Yourself – vs. 1-5
7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
3. ASK Your Father vs. 7-11
7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Luke 11:5-13
